Connect Strava

To connect your Strava account, enter the email address you used when joining our club in the field below. Within a few seconds, we will send you an email containing a link. Simply click the link to connect your Strava account with the Running Angels website.

If you are not a member of our club yet, you can join us here.

Why is this important?

From September 2026, Strava is changing its rules for third-party integrations. Because of this change, Running Angels will only be able to automatically display workouts from members who connect their Strava account with our club.

Once your account is connected, there is nothing else you need to do. As soon as you save a workout on Strava, its data will automatically be sent to us within a few seconds, making the workout immediately available for adoption on the Running Angels website.

Connecting your account takes less than a minute, and after that everything works automatically.

What about private workouts?

When connecting your account, Strava will also ask for permission to allow Running Angels to access your private workouts. This is necessary so that workouts you do not want to share publicly on Strava can also become available for adoption.

This does not mean that your private workouts will become visible to others. On the Running Angels website, we only display the following information:

  • the date and time of the workout,
  • the duration of the workout,
  • the distance covered,
  • and the elevation gain.

We do not display your route, map, GPS data, starting or finishing points, location, photos, or workout description. These remain private and are only available according to the visibility settings you have chosen on Strava.

We use this access exclusively to automatically display adoptable workouts on the Running Angels website. Your data is not used for any other purpose and is never shared with third parties.
