Who we are
Futó Angyalok (Running Angels) started out as a group of friends and has grown into an official club where the love of running meets social responsibility. We believe the world can become a slightly better place — if each of us takes even just a few meaningful steps toward that goal. Everyone matters here: some of us run marathons, others go for the occasional jog — but our shared mission connects us.
How it works
We track our runs using the Strava app, and the kilometers we cover can be “adopted” through our website — even for a symbolic amount like 200 or 500 forints. All donations go entirely to charitable causes: we support children, animal shelters, and other important social issues — all in a transparent way.
Strength in community
Running Angels is built around two main groups: runners, who generate the kilometers, and donors, who adopt them. But there’s no strict line between the two — many people are both. Our goal is to inspire as many people as possible: to move their bodies and hearts, and to experience how running for a good cause feels even more rewarding.
Movement, motivation, growth
Besides charity, we deeply value running itself, healthy living, and the strength of community. We regularly organize group runs and training sessions where we cheer each other on, motivate one another, and grow together. Many of us take part in races — and we’re hopeful that soon we’ll be able to host our very first running event, this time as organizers. We aim to bring out the best in ourselves — and each other — making sure every step truly matters.
